Workflows: Self-service requests

Gone are the days of endless Slack pings or HR tickets. Employees and managers can now launch selected workflows independently through a new “Self-service request” trigger. Whether it’s requesting benefits or submitting documents, this feature speeds up execution and reduces reliance on HR to initiate processes, giving your teams more autonomy and saving valuable time.

Workflows: Level filter in workflows

HR teams can now enroll employees into workflows based on their level. This lets you target the right groups with the right steps, whether it’s compliance acknowledgments, onboarding forms, or policy updates. It’s automation tailored to your org chart, helping ensure relevant processes reach the right people.

Workflows: Allow task descriptions

Need to clarify a task or add supporting files? You now can. Admins can enrich workflow tasks by embedding detailed descriptions and attachments directly. That means fewer questions, better context, and less back-and-forth for everyone involved.

Absence Management: Long-term leave management

Managing parental leave, sabbaticals, or other long-term absences is now easier. Employees can update and track their long-term leave status directly within Leapsome, ensuring they remain connected and in the loop, even when they’re away from day-to-day operations. It’s a thoughtful step toward building inclusive, people-first leave processes.

⏱️ Time Tracking

Live reassignment for time tracking policies

When employees change roles or switch projects, time tracking often gets complicated. With this new update, admins can now reassign someone to a new time tracking policy mid-cycle and any unapproved hours automatically carry over. No gaps, no double entries, just a seamless handover.

Export timesheets

Need to prep timesheets for payroll or finance? You can now export them to Excel with a single click. It’s a small addition that saves a lot of time, especially when dealing with approvals, audits, or monthly reports.

📝 Reviews

Submit reviews on behalf of the reviewer

Sometimes reviewers aren’t available and review cycles can’t wait. Admins now have the option to submit or edit reviews on someone else’s behalf. Whether you’re covering for a vacationing manager or helping a busy exec meet a deadline, this feature helps keep your review process running smoothly.

Average weighted scores in review analytics

We’ve added a new metric to the analytics dashboard: weighted average scores. When viewing a single cycle, this gives you a more accurate, role-adjusted view of performance across teams — perfect for more informed calibration and people decisions.

Lock assessments after the deadline or submission

You now have more control over when assessments get finalized. Reviews can be locked automatically once they’re submitted, once the deadline hits, or after an assessment is signed. This ensures consistency and prevents late changes, helping preserve the integrity of your review process.

💬 Surveys

Comment engagement enhancements

We’ve upgraded how survey comments are displayed and managed. Comments are now clustered by question, giving you a clearer picture of what’s being said across different themes. A new rich-text editor improves the formatting of replies, and engagement metrics show you which comments are resonating — making it easier to identify what matters most.

🤖 Leapsome AI

AI Copilot for all employees

Leapsome’s AI Copilot is no longer limited to admins — it’s now open to all employees. That means anyone can ask, “What’s our remote policy?” or “How do I submit expenses?” and get instant, accurate answers sourced directly from your internal documentation. This is still an alpha release, but already a big step toward better access to knowledge and fewer routine questions for HR.

🔧 Platform

Improved widget setup in analytics dashboards

Creating and customizing dashboards just got easier. With a more intuitive interface and clearer data source options, admins can build powerful reports without the complexity, helping you visualize key people metrics faster and more effectively.

Improved top nav search

We’ve revamped the platform search to be faster and more intuitive. With recent history and smart suggestions built in, users can find the tools, pages, or reports they need without friction , improving platform navigation across the board.
