Who to nominate

Four things we look for in a nomination.

Head of People, HR Manager, CPO. First-timers and veterans both belong here.

Based in DACH

You lead people in-house at a company in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.

Leading with impact

You've changed something real: how your company hires, develops people, or runs day to day.

Nominated by anyone

Nominate yourself, or put forward someone whose work you've learned from.
The Criteria

How honorees are chosen

A panel of founders and senior people leaders reads every nomination against the same four criteria.

Impact

What changed because of your work: retention, performance, how the culture actually feels.
Purple inverted notification/lightning icon.

Innovation

New approaches to running people ops, including where AI genuinely helps.
Half purple, half transparent inverted heart icon.

People-first leadership

You build strong teams, say the hard thing, and keep your ego out of it.
Purple inverted circle with upward smile line.

Influence

You share what you learn and the wider people community is better for it.

What honorees get

A place in the book

Your profile and your thinking, printed in the People Leaders to Watch book.

Your story, told well

A one-on-one interview that runs in the book and goes out to the community.

A seat at the table

An invitation to an honorees' dinner in a major German city with fellow leaders.

A moment on social

A feature across the People Over Perks and Leapsome channels, plus a graphic that's yours to post.
